Lady Killers - Make it a double
For those interested in a look at the trial of Neville Heath I recommend Lady Killers - Make it a double (1980) with the part of Heath well played by Ian Charleson. It is freely available to watch on YouTube and although some parts are dramatised for effect, it is a fairly accurate version of the events. His charming mannner is well portrayed and even the clothes he was wearing throughout are accurate and well researched.

Film stills of Neville Heath leaving court
The attached picture is a still from footage freely available on the Pathe website depicting Neville Heath leaving court in West London. The film footage is a unique glimpse of the man himself. Dressed in sports jacket and flannels closely escorted by law enforcement to the waiting black Maria. This short clip is the only known film of Heath.

I recently came across this photograph of Neville Heath taken during his time
in the Royal Army Service Corps when he held the rank of Second Lieutenant, presumably during his time based at H4 in the Middle East. To my knowledge this is the only picture taken of Heath during his war time service still in existence. All other extant photographs from this period were destroyed by his wife Elizabeth Pitt-Rivers. Heath's time in the RASC came to an abrupt end due to his use of a duplicate army paybook, in effect allowing him to draw two lots of pay and the writing of dud cheques which inevitably bounced!
Welcome
